Every crew that rolls out of our Chandler shop answers to the same standard, but it’s the people inside the vans who make it stick. We’re a small team by design. Tomas Reyes built it that way after watching larger outfits rotate technicians so fast that no one learned which Ocotillo ranch had the squirrel-chewed flex duct or which Fulton Ranch return plenum collected construction debris from 2006. Our crew has stayed steady. They know the local HVAC footprint, they know each other’s moves on a two-man lift, and they treat the H.A.V.E.N. Standard as a floor, not a ceiling.

Tomas Reyes, Owner
I started CleanRun in 2013 after six years as a lead installer for a Phoenix mechanical contractor. The work was fine. The pricing conversations were not. I watched a homeowner in Ahwatukee get quoted $89 for “whole house duct cleaning” that turned into a $1,400 upsell once the van was in the driveway. That model works for volume shops. It doesn’t work for people who have to live with the result. I built CleanRun around Haven Standard Clause 1: written price before any work starts, every time, no exceptions. I still ride along on jobs when we’re training new equipment or when a customer has a complex zoned system. My specialty is negative-pressure extraction setup on older Chandler homes with galvanized ductwork from the 1980s, the kind that sheds rust scale if you hit it with the wrong agitation method. Off the job, I restore vintage Honda motorcycles and have a running bet with Marcus about whether my 1982 CB750 will outlast his truck.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with CleanRun since 2017, which makes him the longest-tenured tech after Tomas. He came over from a commercial HVAC outfit in Mesa where he spent eight years doing VAV box maintenance on office buildings. That background shows in his methodical pace. Marcus doesn’t rush the pre-inspection. He’ll spend twenty minutes with a borescope camera mapping debris patterns before he picks a brush head, and he’s the reason we started documenting photo records on every run, not just the worst ones. His certification is in Abatement Technologies HEPA containment systems, which matters more than you’d think in Chandler’s older neighborhoods where vermiculite insulation still turns up in attic plenums. Marcus keeps a laminated map of every golf course community in the East Valley in his glove box, not for navigation, for betting on municipal water rates with his brother-in-law.
Diana R., Senior Installer & Duct Repair Specialist
Diana joined us in 2019 after running her own small handyman operation in Gilbert. She was tired of chasing invoices and wanted to work somewhere the price was already settled before she unloaded her tools. Her transition to duct repair and sealing was natural. She’d spent years crawling attics for electrical and low-voltage contractors, so tight spaces and 140-degree summer rooflines don’t register as hardship. Diana holds the crew’s only Nikro pneumatic agitation certification, which she uses on the heavy restoration jobs, the ones where a duct run has collapsed or a rodent has compromised the main trunk. She’s also our go-to for Aeroseal applications when a homeowner wants to seal from the inside without tearing open walls. Diana breeds show rabbits. She has seven and will show you photos unprompted if you express even mild curiosity.
Jesse K., Service Coordinator
Jesse is the voice on the phone when you call (520) 464-6297, and the person who makes sure the written scope, the written price, and the technician assignment all match before the van leaves the shop. He came to us from a medical equipment dispatch operation, which explains his tolerance for detailed scheduling and his low tolerance for ambiguity. Jesse coordinates our Free Second Opinion program. When a homeowner brings in a competitor’s written estimate, Jesse schedules the visit, flags the relevant equipment for the technician, and ensures both estimates are documented side-by-side in the job record. He’s also the one who assembles the Documented Photo Record into the final customer deliverable, checking that every before-and-after pair is labeled by duct run and register location. Jesse plays in a Chandler adult softball league and has strong opinions about infield drag patterns at Espee Park.
Elena V., Apprentice Technician
Elena started with us in 2024 after completing the HVAC program at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. She’s in her second year of apprenticeship, working toward her Arizona residential HVAC installer license. Right now she runs the Rotobrush on standard cleanings, manages hose routing and containment setup, and learns the decision tree for when a cleaning turns into a repair referral. Her assigned mentor rotates monthly so she sees different approaches to the same problem. Elena’s current focus is register and grille restoration on homes with painted-over steel vents, a common issue in Chandler’s 1990s subdivisions where multiple paint layers have sealed louvers shut. She lives in Andersen Springs and has started recognizing her neighbors’ duct configurations by street name, which she finds either encouraging or slightly unsettling depending on the day.
